And as an extra special treat, here are some old concepts I found from 2010. These were for some side project that I was working on when trying to get into the concept art industry.
Pointy Spiky Land - My go-to shape language at the time.
Grunge Texture Land with Brush Shape Silhouettes - Looks like I considered color a little bit here.
Landscape without reference landscape. I remember really getting frustrated with this one. I hadn't done a ton of landscape studies, but I was still willing to get frustrated that I sucked at something I didn't practice that much. This last one made be a bit scared of environments for a little bit. I don't think I tackled too many for a short little whike.
I just wanted to share where I came from a little bit. Art has always been amazing to me, but also a constant struggle, it inspires me and defies me. I am still as excited about art today as I was then. There is no ending point to learning, but it's nice to see where you've been.
